I’ll start.
For the first time in my adult life, I can see God slowly weaving together the threads of my story to make something beautiful that will bring Him glory. That’s not to say each individual thread hasn’t served a purpose in His glory. But this feels different. Probably because the dreams that are unfolding before me, the calling I have had since childhood that has been unattainable until now, could only be from Him. My faith is increasing as I wait for direction (and miracles) in my career, my marriage, my parenting, my physical health, my mental health, my finances, and my spiritual walk. God has me in a season of waiting. How about you?
In my home, I’m called Momma Bear. My husband, Daddy Bear, and I have a precious preschool-aged little boy, Buddy Bear. Daddy Bear and I have been together for 8 years. We live in a large city in the Midwest and are extremely fortunate to have both sets of our parents and siblings within 15 minutes of us. I came to know Christ as my personal Savior at a very early age and was raised in the church as a PK (preacher’s kid for those unfamiliar). Church life was all I knew. It was a fantastic way to grow up – I got to see the good, bad, and ugly of a church thriving and church hurt. And I’ve come to learn that through it all, Christ is faithful! I’ve been a small group leader for a women’s Bible study, served as a leader for teenagers and now a preschool Sunday School class teacher.
This blog serves as personal accountability to further my walk with the Lord though prayer, Bible study, writing, and evangelism. For those of you who choose to follow along, I pray that this serves as a place for you to come for encouragement, Biblical wisdom, fellowship, and prayer for the burdens we are all sure to face in this life.
Please comment below how you’re waiting for God to show up in your life circumstances, I would love to pray for you!
